Yogi Living Retreat Center is an oasis of calm in south Sweden, and offers a range of activities to promote deep inner peace and physical well-being. From restorative yoga, to yoga nidra (sleep yoga) to ice baths. Every aspect of your wellness experience is crafted to renew mind and body.

On a Yoga Wellness Retreat each day begins with a healing yoga session. Your body will love your for it! From there, the program is adjusted according to your personal preference. It does not need to be challenging. Classes are typically a blend of breathwork, sun salutations, yoga asanas, and yoga nidra (deeply relaxing). When the weather is fine we practice on the beach.
Yoga is not about the shape of your body, but the shape of your life. Yoga is not to be performed; it is to be lived. Yoga doesn’t care about what you have been; it cares about the person you are becoming.

A Yoga Wellness Retreat is all about you. We personalize every aspect of the retreat according to your needs and wishes.
We have a range of yoga practices, a hot-tub, an ice-water dip, cold swimming in the Baltic Sea, a meditation platform and a private yoga practice area at Yogi Living. And a quiet space completely to yourself.
You can choose from the following:
1. Breathwork (Pranayama) | core practice
Pranayamas used include alternate nostril breathing, bellows breath, and Kapalabhati. These calm the mind, balance the nervous system, and improve breathing. These practices release deeply held emotions.
2. Surya Namaskara (Sun Salutation) | core practice
A powerful yoga practice to promote complete inner wellbeing. The practice aims to activate the solar plexus, raising the samat prana, or solar heat, within the body.
3. Asanas (Postures)
The calm practice of yoga coupled with deep breath awareness activates the vagus nerve to help you relax. Perfect for easing depression, anxiety and letting go of stress in the body.
4. Yoga Nidra (Sleep Yoga)
A state of conscious relaxation and meditation that guides practitioners into deep physical, mental, and emotional rest. Heals unhealthy mental patterns, increases confidence, releases anger and renews energy.
5. Meditation | Core Practice
Mindfulness practice to reduce anxiety, and depression, and create inner peace. We do not ask clients to do long sitting meditations, rather, we make use of the time between other practices.
6. Contrast Bath Therapy
Alternating immersion of the body in warm and cold water to improve circulation, reduce inflammation, and alleviate pain. Stimulate blood flow and quickens healing.
7. Hot Tub
A hot tub promotes relaxation, reduces stress, and soothes sore muscles and joints through the combination of warm water and hydrotherapy jets. It can also improve sleep quality.
8. Personal Masseur | extra option
The benefits of massage on both body and mind hardly need to be described. We do not have a permanent in-house masseur but we can call in a local therapist if you would like to add this treatment to your schedule.
9. Emotional Release (3-Step Process) | Core Practice
Clients are freed from stuck emotions from hurtful past relationships and life traumas. We can then create a new positive energy frequency. The 3 step process is a complete emotional and physical reset and an invaluable part of our Wellness Retreats.
10. Time In Nature
Time in nature reduces stress, lifts mood, and improves overall mental health by fostering a sense of calm and well-being.
11. Cold Swimming
Take a dip in the Baltic Sea! Cold swimming improves circulation, boosts the immune system, and improves mood through the release of endorphins. It can also increase resilience to stress.
12. Cacao Ceremony
Cacao is said to enhance intuition and promote clarity of thought. If you are struggling with difficult decisions, or unresolved conflicts, this practice can be incredibly healing and empowering. Discover for yourself the benefits of drinking ceremonial cacao.

We can accommodate 1 to 4 people on a Yoga Wellness Retreat. No pets are allowed.

We are located in Skåne, South Sweden close to the vibrant city of Malmö and can be reached from anywhere in Europe in about 2 hours flying or less. The closest international airports are Copenhagen Airport, Kastrup (75 km) and Malmö airport, Sturup (30 km) with good rail connections to Malmö and on to Trelleborg, the closest town.
The guest house has a private entrance, a private decking area next to the garden fruit trees with hot tub and sun loungers.
The property has its own kitchen with oven, fridge freezer and dishwasher. There is a private bathroom with shower. Towels and bed linen are provided and there is a washing machine and dryer. The upstairs balcony has a table and chairs with a view of the garden.
Free WiFi and private parking are available.

Skåne is known as the Swedish Riviera for its white sand beaches, broad sunny skies, pretty towns and villages, ancient sites and many historic buildings.
There are medieval churches and historic buildings within 1 hours drive from Klagstorp. Skåne is a paradise for hikers, with trails that pass through a variety of landscapes from dark, dense primeval forests, megalithic monuments, to the gorgeous gold of the rapeseed fields, and an almost endless shoreline. The best known is the Skåneleden Trail, which has 1,600 kilometres of marked pathways.
Originally part of Denmark, Skåne is a captivating patchwork of farmland, lush forests, and clear blue lakes with over 400 kilometers of coastline. The rural areas and quaint fishing villages are dotted with castles, manors, museums, numerous medieval churches and magnificent gardens. The half-timbered, brightly colored houses make it a delight for photographers.
Ystad is set in a rural environment and the surrounding landscape is the characteristic Skåne scenery and atmosphere often portrayed in films, most famously the TV Crime Series Wallander. Its narrow cobblestone streets and brightly colored half-timbered houses create a welcoming atmosphere.
The Ale’s Stones are perched on a hill overlooking the sea close to the fishing village of Kåseberga, near Ystad. Built around 1,400 years ago during the Nordic Iron Age, this site is one of Sweden’s most enigmatic megalithic monuments.
The pristine white sands of Sandhammaren are said to be a match for the best beaches of the Caribbean. It’s been voted as Sweden’s best beach multiple times. Relax on the fine white sand, take a dip in the sea, or enjoy a stroll along beaches that continue for miles.
Malmö is more than a city. It is a hub for meetings, culinary delights, and joyous moments. Ideas flow in Malmö and you can feel it when you visit. The energy is evident in its art, music, and food, as well as in its diverse population. It is a place where people come to realize their dreams.

What is included in the retreat?
The booking includes accommodation, meals and sole occupancy of the Retreat Centre Guest House. There are core treatments included plus options which you can choose on any of the days of your wellness retreat (click here). Some are at an additional cost, please ask for more details.
Can I bring my partner?
Yes! Partners are always welcome, if space permits.
There is a small extra price to cover our costs if your partner does not wish to participate.
Do I need yoga experience?
Not at all. Yoga classes are optional and tailored to individual needs, without the complicated postures you may see online.
Are classes held in English?
Yogi Living resident yoga teacher Winnie Winnetu speaks English, Swedish, Danish, French and German so don’t worry if you cannot speak Swedish!
How do I get to Yogi Living Retreat Center?
Yogi Living Retreat Center is located in Skåne, South Sweden close to the vibrant city of Malmö. The closest international airports are Copenhagen Airport, Kastrup (75 km) and Malmö airport, Sturup (30 km) with good rail connections to Malmö and on to Trelleborg (our closest town). You can also come by car through Germany and take the ferry from Rostock to Trelleborg. There are 3 sailings (6 hours duration) per day.
We can pick you up by car from Malmö or Trelleborg, but please ask for this in advance.
What is the local area like?
The surrounding countryside is picture-postcard Sweden. There are many small picturesque villages and a mixture of open farmland, woodland, and lakes. The wonderful coastline of the Swedish Riviera is only 5km away. When the weather allows we can arrange an excursion to places like the Ales Stones (the “Swedish Stonehenge”) and local castles.
You can also hang in the garden under where we have a treehouse meditation platform and a jacuzzi. There is a small ICA supermarket 5 minutes walk from the ashram.
