So, what does a prana healing retreat look like? Imagine practising yoga on white sand beaches, where the gentle ebb and flow of the waves soothes your mind, and the soft sand under your feet grounds you in the present moment. The Prana Healing Retreat is designed to nourish your soul and revitalize your body. More than a chance to relieve stress, stretch out those tired muscles, and focus on your well-being: it can change your life.
On a Prana Healing Retreat each day begins with relaxing and energising Prana Yoga. Your body will love your for it! From there, the program is adjusted according to your personal preference. It does not need to be challenging. Classes are typically a blend of breathwork, sun salutations, yoga asanas, and yoga nidra (deeply relaxing). When the weather is fine we practice on the beach.

There are two double rooms in the yoga-themed annexe, which has a fully-fitted kitchen and bathroom.
We can accommodate 1 to 4 people on a Prana Healing Retreat. No pets are allowed.
The guest house has a private entrance, a private decking area next to the garden fruit trees with hot tub and sun loungers.
The Guest House has its own kitchen with oven, fridge freezer and dishwasher. There is a private bathroom with shower. Towels and bed linen are provided and there is a washing machine and tumble dryer. The upstairs balcony has a table and chairs with a view of the garden.
Free WiFi and private parking are available.

A Prana Healing Retreat is all about you. We personalize every aspect of the retreat according to your needs and wishes.
We have a range of yoga practices, a hot-tub, an ice-water dip, Nordic cold swimming in the Baltic Sea, a meditation platform and a private yoga practice area at Yogi Living Retreat Center. And quiet space completely to yourself.
The Prana Healing Retreat is more than just taking extra rest. It involves resetting your routine, recalibrating energy, connecting inner and outer worlds and purifying the body using the breath.
You can choose from the following:
1. Breathwork (Pranayama) | core practice
Pranayamas used include alternate nostril breathing, bellows breath, and Kapalabhati. These calm the mind, balance the nervous system, and improve breathing. These practices release deeply held emotions and unblock the flow of prana and are a core practice on our Prana Healing Retreat.
2. Surya Namaskara (Sun Salutation) | core practice
A powerful yoga practice to promote complete inner wellbeing and prana healing. The practice aims to activate the solar plexus, raising the samat prana, or solar heat, within the body.
3. Asanas (Postures)
The calm practice of yoga coupled with deep breath awareness activates the vagus nerve to help you relax. Perfect for easing depression, anxiety and letting go of stress in the body.
4. Yoga Nidra (Sleep Yoga)
A state of conscious relaxation and meditation that guides practitioners into deep physical, mental, and emotional rest. Heals unhealthy mental patterns, increases confidence, releases anger and renews energy.
5. Meditation | Core Practice
Mindfulness practice to reduce anxiety, and depression, and create inner peace. We do not ask clients to do long sitting meditations, rather, we make use of the time between other practices. Reducing mental turbulence is a core element of our Prana Healing Retreat.
6. Contrast Bath Therapy
Alternating immersion of the body in warm and cold water to improve circulation, reduce inflammation, and alleviate pain. Stimulate blood flow and quickens healing.
7. Hot Tub
A hot tub promotes relaxation, reduces stress, and soothes sore muscles and joints through the combination of warm water and hydrotherapy jets. It can also improve sleep quality.
8. Personal Masseur | extra option
The benefits of massage on both body and mind hardly need to be described. We do not have a permanent in-house masseur but we can call in a local therapist if you would like to add this treatment to the Prana Healing Retreat schedule.
9. Emotional Release (3-Step Process) | Core Practice
Clients are freed from stuck emotions from hurtful past relationships and life traumas. We can then create a new positive energy frequency. The 3 step process is a complete emotional and physical reset and an invaluable part the Prana Healing Retreat.
10. Time In Nature
Time in nature reduces stress, lifts mood, and improves overall mental health by fostering a sense of calm and well-being.
11. Cold Swimming
Take a dip in the Baltic Sea! Cold swimming improves circulation, boosts the immune system, and improves mood through the release of endorphins. It can also increase resilience to stress.
12. Cacao Ceremony
Cacao is said to enhance intuition and promote clarity of thought. If you are struggling with difficult decisions, or unresolved conflicts, this practice can be incredibly healing and empowering. Discover for yourself the benefits of drinking ceremonial cacao.

The Retreat Center
Yogi Living is a family-run Nordic yoga center located in a small village among the rural farms and wide-open skies of Skåne, in South Sweden. We are within easy reach of the major transport hubs of Malmö and Copenhagen.
The Retreat Center has a peaceful and grounded feel, but it’s also part of the rhythm of local village life. We are located on a road, so you will sometimes hear the rumble of passing traffic or neighbors going about their day—and sometimes be approached by a friendly cat in the garden!
This is not a place for total withdrawal or complete silence but rather a space to explore practical yoga methods that are meant to integrate into everyday life. At Yogi Living, you’ll experience the beauty of yoga in harmony with the gentle hum of life around you, creating a balance between inner peace and the outside world.

What is included in the retreat?
The Prana Healing Retreat includes accommodation and meals in the privacy of our guest house. There are core treatments plus a choice of options which you can choose on any of the days of your retreat (click here). Some options involve an additional cost, please ask for more details.
Do I need yoga experience?
Not at all. Yoga classes are tailored to individual needs, without the complicated postures you may see online.
Are classes held in English?
Yogi Living resident yoga teacher Winnie Winnetu speaks English, Swedish, Danish, French and German so don’t worry if you cannot speak Swedish!
Can I bring my partner?
Yes! Partners are always welcome, if space permits.
There is a small extra price to cover our costs if your partner does not wish to participate.
How do I get to Yogi Living Retreat Center?
Yogi Living Retreat Center is located in Skåne, South Sweden close to the vibrant city of Malmö. The closest international airports are Copenhagen Airport, Kastrup (75 km) and Malmö airport, Sturup (30 km) with good rail connections to Malmö and on to Trelleborg (our closest town). You can also come by car through Germany and take the ferry from Rostock to Trelleborg. There are 3 sailings (6 hours duration) per day.
We can pick you up by car from Malmö or Trelleborg, but please ask for this in advance.
What is the local area like?
The surrounding countryside is picture-postcard Sweden. There are many small picturesque villages and a mixture of open farmland, woodland, and lakes. The wonderful coastline of the Swedish Riviera is only 5km away. When the weather allows we can arrange an excursion to places like the Ales Stones (the “Swedish Stonehenge”) and local castles.
You can also hang in the garden under where we have a treehouse meditation platform and a jacuzzi. There is a small ICA supermarket 5 minutes walk from the ashram.
