Ever feel like you just need a break from it all?
Imagine walking through a storm—rain pouring, thunder crashing, trees falling around you. Chaos outside, but inside: stillness. This is the power of inner silence. Not to avoid the storm, but to move through it fully—calm, steady, alive.
A silent retreat in Sweden offers you a chance to pause, breathe, and fully be yourself.
Welcome to a Yogi Living Silent Retreat!

We offer a unique getaway from city life in the midst of rural countryside Sweden. It’s a place to rest, reflect, revive, and realign with your true self. You will learn yoga techniques to quiet your mind and increase your inner energy. Our gentle support will guide you from fears and stress-creating clutter towards self love.
And don’t forget to ask for beach yoga, it’s one of Skåne’s best-kept secrets!
Are you ready to trade your daily chaos for inner freedom? A silent retreat might just be your ticket to a happier, more centered You!

Rewind And Reconnect
In a world where being busy is a badge of honor, this is your invitation to stop, reset, and find the simple joy of being.
To us silence is not the absence of noise but a state beyond fears—this is the state where your energy melts together with the energy of the entire universe. The state of inner wisdom and love.
This is your retreat: you decide what silence means to you! For some it means complete silence and communication via notes. To others it might mean taking certain hours per day to enter into inner silence through meditation.
We are here to help you and guide you through your personal journey. We offer chakra awakening yoga and meditation classes to release stored stress and awaken your energy body. Once your energy body awakens you will find it easier to enter into deeper states of meditation.
In the morning you can follow our prana yoga classes: pranayamas, sun salutation, Tibetan rites and tantric meditations. In the evenings we often offer yoga flow, dynamic meditations or yin yoga. When your life force starts to ignite, you will shift from feeling stuck, worried, or burned out to a state of inner strength and wisdom.
Many participants report feeling a renewed sense of purpose, inviting a life-changing experience.
A silent retreat is a powerful path to deep awareness that leads you to you!
My solo meditation retreat was nothing short of transformative. It was a journey back to myself, and it changed my life profoundly. For a week, I went into complete silence and solitude. The retreat allowed me see my life and purpose more deeply. I returned to my daily life with renewed energy, a clearer sense of direction, and a new ability to breathe through stress.

The Benefits of Solitude
Imagine yourself in deep meditation—in the stillness of an inspiring yogi room, amidst the greenery of the tea shack, or tucked away in the crown of our birch tree. Walking meditations among barley fields.
Spending time in personal silence and solitude can feel daunting, especially if you’re not used to being alone. Without the usual distractions, thoughts and emotions from deep within may begin to surface. Sometimes, this process brings physical discomfort, restlessness, or emotional ups and downs. These challenges are a natural part of the journey. If you ever feel discomfort-physical or mental-know that support is always available.
You have the opportunity to have personal yoga instruction from an experienced yoga teacher while on your silent yoga retreat.
Being alone on retreat opens the door to self-discovery. It becomes easier to let go of old mental and emotional patterns, allowing space for personal transformation.
As your retreat comes to a close, you may notice a real shift in how you feel-mentally and emotionally. Many people experience emotional release and healing. The mind grows quieter, thoughts become clearer, and a deep sense of calm settles in.
Participants often leave feeling more connected to themselves and inspired by a renewed sense of purpose. A silent yoga retreat can be challenging, but it has the power to truly change your life.

Yoga Options - Silent retreat Sweden
Being on solo retreat never means doing nothing. You may feel you have enough on your plate but we do recommend taking advantage of private yoga instruction (without having to break silence) during your stay at the Retreat Center. Including mindful exercise into the retreat supports your process, and can be highly beneficial for your physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
Please note that these additional options need to be booked separately. We do not list fixed prices for private sessions; instead, we invite you to practice giving. Any amount you choose to offer helps support the Retreat Center and keeps our programs accessible for everyone.
1. Surya Kriya (Sun Salutation)
A powerful Kundalini Activation practice to promote complete inner wellbeing. The practice aims to activate the solar plexus, raising the samat prana, or solar heat, within the body.
2. Pranayamas (Breathwork)
Breath plays a major role in Kundalini Activation. Methods used include rapid breathing, like Breath of Fire, as well as alternate nostril breathing and deep, belly breathing.
3. Dynamic Meditation
An active meditation with breath work, wild movements, and emotional release. Helps move stagnant energy and break conditioned patterns that keep one imprisoned in the past.
4. Kundalini Kriyas (Sequences)
Kriyas are combinations of postures, breath work, and mantras. Each kriya has a specific outcome, such as detox, increased energy, or emotional balance. Kundalini Kriyas focus energy on and through the chakras to activate kundalini.
5. Tibetan Rites (Trul Khor)
Secret practices from Tibetan monasteries. The rites combine movement, breathwork, and meditation to balance the chakras and create a shield against negative energy.
6. Emotional Release (3 Step Process)
Clients are freed from stuck emotions from hurtful past relationships and life traumas. We can then create a new positive energy frequency. The 3 step process is a complete emotional and physical reset.

What To Bring
When preparing for a solo retreat where accommodation and meals are included, you’ll want to pack thoughtfully to ensure a comfortable and fulfilling experience. If you are staying in the caravan bring a bare minimum.
Here is a list of solo retreat essentials:
1. Comfortable Clothing
Opt for clothes that allow you to move easily and sit comfortably during meditation. Think yoga pants, loose-fitting tops, and lightweight layers.
Warm layers: Don’t forget to pack some warm clothing, even in the warmer months it can get cool in the evenings.
2. Meditation Gear
Meditation cushion or blanket: We can provide these, but bringing your own can enhance comfort.
Yoga mat: If you prefer practicing on your own yoga mat, it’s a good idea to bring it, though there are mats at the Ashram you are welcome to use.
3. Personal Items
Toiletries: Bring your usual personal care items, including shampoo, soap, toothbrush, and toothpaste.
Reusable water bottle: Remember to stay hydrated throughout the retreat.
4. Health And Comfort
If you take any prescribed medication, make sure to bring enough for the duration of the solo retreat. Bring a pair of comfortable shoes suitable for walking or light hiking if the retreat includes outdoor activities.
5. Journal And Pen
For journaling insights, reflections, or any thoughts that arise during meditation or reflection.
6. Reading Material
Bring a few favorite books with you, but keep in mind that the focus is on meditation and reflection.
7. Travel Essentials
Bring any necessary documents, such as identification or confirmation details for your retreat.
8. Optional Items
1. For added comfort during meditation or relaxation.
2. Snacks: Though meals are provided, having a few healthy snacks on hand can be useful.
3. Bring a small torch to help find your way in the dark.
9. What To Leave Behind

Ask Winnie
frequently asked questions
Is this a silent retreat?
The structure of the retreat is entirely up to you. However, we do strongly advise maintaining silence for the duration of your stay, where possible. Noble silence, or mauna, has been used for centuries as a means to both deepen your meditation and to catalyze personal insight.
Should you need support, emotional or otherwise, feel free to talk with one of the teachers at the Retreat Center.
What is included in the retreat?
Your booking includes accommodation, meals and basic facilities. There are teaching options you can choose for any of the days of the retreat (click here) which need to be booked separately. We do not list prices for these, instead we encourage the practice of giving. Our main purpose is to provide space for you to retreat on your own terms.
What form of meditation is taught?
One of the Retreat Center teachers can provide instruction: teaching is based on Indian and Tibetan forms of kundalini tantra yoga, and is non-denominational. You do not have to meditate, though it is normal and recommended for such retreats. You are more than welcome to use the time for journalling, personal reflection, prayer or art. You can also bring your own practice.
Do I need yoga experience?
Not at all. Yoga classes are optional and tailored to individual needs, without the complicated postures you may see online.
Are classes held in English?
Do not worry about the language as classes are mostly taught in silence.
How do I get to Yogi Living Retreat Center?
Yogi Living Retreat Center is located in Skåne, South Sweden close to the vibrant city of Malmö. The closest international airports are Copenhagen Airport, Kastrup (75 km) and Malmö airport, Sturup (30 km) with good rail connections to Malmö and on to Trelleborg (our closest town). You can also come by car through Germany and take the ferry from Rostock to Trelleborg. There are 3 sailings (6 hours duration) per day.
We can pick you up by car from Trelleborg, but please ask for this in advance.
What is the local area like?
The surrounding countryside is picture-postcard Sweden. There are many small picturesque villages and a mixture of open farmland, woodland, and lakes. The wonderful coastline of the Swedish Riviera is only 5km away. When the weather allows we can arrange an excursion to places like the Ales Stones (the “Swedish Stonehenge”) and local castles.
You can also hang out in the garden where we have a treehouse meditation platform and a jacuzzi. There is a small ICA supermarket 5 minutes walk from the ashram.
Can I call you?
