On a Prana Yoga Retreat each day begins with relaxing and energising Prana Yoga. Your body will love your for it! From there, the program is adjusted according to your personal preference. It does not need to be challenging. Classes are typically a blend of breathwork, sun salutations, yoga asanas, and yoga nidra (deeply relaxing). When the weather is fine we practice on the beach.

A Prana Yoga Retreat is all about you. We personalize every aspect of the retreat according to your needs and wishes.

We have a range of yoga practices, a hot-tub, an ice-water dip, Nordic cold swimming in the Baltic Sea, a meditation platform and a private yoga practice area at Yogi Living Retreat Center. And quiet space completely to yourself.

The Prana Yoga Retreat is more than just taking extra rest. It involves resetting your routine, recalibrating energy, connecting inner and outer worlds and purifying the body using the breath.

You can choose from the following:

Pranayamas used include alternate nostril breathing, bellows breath, and Kapalabhati. These calm the mind, balance the nervous system, and improve breathing. These practices release deeply held emotions and unblock the flow of prana and are a core practice on our Prana Yoga Retreat.

A powerful yoga practice to promote complete inner wellbeing and prana healing. The practice aims to activate the solar plexus, raising the samat prana, or solar heat, within the body.

The calm practice of healing yoga coupled with deep breath awareness activates the vagus nerve to help you relax. Perfect for easing depression, anxiety and letting go of stress in the body. 

A state of conscious relaxation and meditation that guides practitioners into deep physical, mental, and emotional rest. Heals unhealthy mental patterns, increases confidence, releases anger and renews energy.

Mindfulness practice to reduce anxiety, and depression, and create inner peace. We do not ask clients to do long sitting meditations, rather, we make use of the time between other practices. Reducing mental turbulence is a core element of our Prana Yoga  Retreat.

Alternating immersion of the body in warm and cold water to improve circulation, reduce inflammation, and alleviate pain. Stimulate blood flow and quickens healing.

A hot tub promotes relaxation, reduces stress, and soothes sore muscles and joints through the combination of warm water and hydrotherapy jets. It can also improve sleep quality.

The benefits of massage on both body and mind hardly need to be described. We do not have a permanent in-house masseur but we can call in a local therapist if you would like to add this treatment to the Prana Yoga Retreat schedule.

Clients are freed from stuck emotions from hurtful past relationships and life traumas. We can then create a new positive energy frequency. The 3 step process is a complete emotional and physical reset and an invaluable part the Prana Yoga Retreat.

Time in nature reduces stress, lifts mood, and improves overall mental health by fostering a sense of calm and well-being.

Take a dip in the Baltic Sea! Cold swimming improves circulation, boosts the immune system, and improves mood through the release of endorphins. It can also increase resilience to stress.

Our daily schedule is a guide, and we are happy to adjust it to your needs and preferences.

08.00 - 09.00

Your day starts gently with  Morning Smoothie or Detox Tea to ease you gently into the day. 

Mornings session is a 2-hour partner yoga  which may include practices like Sun Salutations, Pranayamas, Dynmic Meditations, Venus Kriyas, and Couples Meditations— designed to align breath, open the love energy, and deepen connection.

Yogi Living Brunch. A typical brunch consists of healthy panckages with local honney, fruits, coconut and cacao, yogurth with fruit compot, chia pudding, frech orange juice, coffee and tea. However, we follow your dietary requirements and adjust according to your diet and needs. 

Heart Centered / Non Violent Communication. Few of us had great role models for how to communicate. We help you listen and speak with empathy and presence. To understand and to be understood. 

Sightseeing and romantic time for the two of you. It is possible to rent our retro volvo or ask for a guided tour with a picknik basket.

Take time to immerse yourself in Prana Yoga at Yogi Living. We are a family-run yoga center in rural countryside Skåne (South Sweden). Our place is personal, warm, and full of charm; everything but a five-star hotel. We prioritize our clients and only hosts one to two couples at the time. 

You will stay in our fruit tree garden, surrounded by open fields, fresh air, and vibrant village life.

Classical Tantra Yoga is a spiritual tradition that began in India and thrived between the 5th and 12th centuries. During this time, thousands of texts known as “Tantras” were written. The texts detailed various Tantric practices and included many long commentaries. The primary aim of these yogic practices and beliefs was to elevate consciousness, explore the nature of reality, and achieve spiritual liberation.

Neo-Tantra and Classical Tantra differ significantly in their focus and practices. Neo-Tantra primarily emphasizes sexual liberation and the concept of sacred sex. In Classical Tantra, sexuality is seen as only one aspect of the human experience that can serve a spiritual practice.

Neo-Tantra and Classical Tantra share little beyond their name and the belief that sexuality doesn’t have to be separate from spirituality.

Not at all. Yoga classes are optional and tailored to individual needs, without the complicated postures you may see online.

Yogi Living Retreat Center resident yoga teacher Winnie Winnetu speaks English, Swedish, Danish, French and German so don’t worry if you cannot speak Swedish!

Yogi Living Retreat Center is located in Skåne, South Sweden close to the vibrant city of Malmö. The closest international airports are Copenhagen Airport, Kastrup  (75 km) and Malmö airport, Sturup (30 km) with good rail connections to Malmö and on to Trelleborg (our closest town). You can also come by car through Germany and take the ferry from Rostock to Trelleborg. There are 3 sailings (6 hours duration) per day.

We can pick you up by car from Malmö (10 min from Copenhagen airport in train), Trelleborg, Ystad or Malmö Airport, but please ask for this in advance.

The surrounding countryside is picture-postcard Sweden. There are many small picturesque villages and a mixture of open farmland, woodland, and lakes. The wonderful coastline of the Swedish Riviera is only 5km away. When the weather allows we can arrange an excursion to places like the Ales Stones (the “Swedish Stonehenge”) and local castles and silent lakes.

You can also hang out in the garden where we have a treehouse meditation platform and a jacuzzi.  There is a small ICA supermarket 5 minutes walk from the ashram.
